Here comes Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S : A competition killer

Putting full stop to all leaks, finally the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 are unveiled today. The Super AMOLED screens of WQXGA resolution offering excellent contrast and saturated colors is the Key feature. Which is also the secrete of ‘extra slim’ of just 6.6mm thick. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 the big tablets comparing with iPad Air and Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 high-res tablet takes aim at iPad mini 2 and Nexus 7.

It weights just 298g (125.6×212.8 with 4G).The rear camera is 8Mp and front is 2.1Mp with an LED flash at the back. It has a Battery of 900mAh and a fingerprint scanner. The screen resolution is same as the 10 in model, 2560×1600 which means a high pixel density of 350ppi.

The devices is great for watching contents with 16:10 aspect ratio and resolution of 2560×1600 with 280ppi.The mode of display is adaptive to its content like gamma, saturation or sharpness etc, you can choose it manually too. There is an IR blaster and a fingerprint scanner. The cameras are same as of 8.4.

Both have storage of 16 or 32GB internal and microSD card slot accepting up to 128GB cards and 3GB of RAM. They are powered with Samsung’s own Exynos 5 octa processor paring four 1.9GHz cores with four 1.3 GHz cores running Android 4.4 KitKat with Samsung’s latest TouchWiz software. Additionally includes Samsung’s own kick app(foot ball app).Instead of magnets or a simple clip over for attaching a case there are two circles on the rear cover. With an extra cost both comes in a 4G LTE model for mobile internet. They doesn’t have NFC but have other wireless tech including 11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.Both comes two colors white and copper.
