Google unveils Nexus 5 and Android KitKat : Coming soon to India



Google has unveiled its most hyped flagship device Nexus 5 today.The device is put for sale across many countries through the Google Play Store. But India it is yet to come for sale. The prices of the device in India is put up though.The device would cost Rs.28990 for the 16 GB variant and Rs.32990 for the 32 GB variant.

The device is slim and light with a 5 inch full HD display with 445 ppi resolution, with 2 GB RAM,  powered by a 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and runs on the latest flavour of Android , KitKat.

The device has a Gorilla glass 3 which keeps your screen scratch proof. The camera on front is 1.3MP and the one on the rear side is 8MP with Optical Image Stabilization feature. The Adreno 330 GPU promises to give you a crisp picture of what ever you see on screen.It has a 2300 mAH battery that delivers Talk time up to 17 hours and standby time up to 300 hours as specified by the play store. It has wireless charging capabilities built-in.

The device supports 4G/LTE networks. For wireless connectivity ans sharing it has Dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0.

In addition to the high specification of the device the Android KitKat offers much more features. Google Now is on the leftmost panel of the home screen. Some of the lucky users who were lucky to have a early hands-on on the device report the phone to be smooth than any of the android phones.Lets wait till it hits India.
