Lenovo’s K920  an Android 4.4 powerhouse was revealed at the Mobile Asia Expo 2014, Shanghai. The K920 runs on the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system. Hence one can be guaranteed that the OS won’t be outdated for atleast a year from now. Lenovo has skinned the interface with its own UI customization.

The Lenovo K920 boasts a 6-inch , 2560×1440 resolution display. Its slim bezels keep it relatively compact when compared with other 6-inchers in the market. This phone runs on 2.5 GHz  quad-core Snapdragon 801. It is the same processor that powers HTC One M8 and Samsung Galaxy S5.It also has 3 gigs of RAM. The internal storage is said to be 32GB and is also expandable using a microSD card. The primary camera is 16MP with auto-focus  and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The secondary camera can shoot up to 5 megapixels.

This beast has all the usual connectivity features but with some drawbacks. It is WiFi, GPS &  Blutooth equipped. But the phone neither supports DLNA nor WiFi-Direct. This can prove to a big put off for people who would want to use it as a media server serving to big screens(TVs, Laptops, etc..) .The phone also has the usual data + power micro-USB port, but there is no confirmed news on OTG support. The mobile is 3G, dual-SIM(both micro-SIM) compatible. It also supports TD-LTE in china.

This monster phablet is said to have a huge 4000mAH battery, which might really turn the tide in favor of itself when customers make the buying decision. There is no official word on the pricing and launch of the device yet. It is certain to be launched in china, but there is no news yet on the device availability in other countries .
