LG officially announces ‘Genesis’ on its US website!

LG mobiles has annouced officially its Android powered smartphone Genesis on its US website.Genesis is a dual screened clamshell form-factor Android phone that has a primary 3.5 inch touch screen and the secondary internal 3.2 inch touch screen.Both the screens have a resolution of 480×800.The Genesis measures in at 4.72 x 2.43 x 0.66 inches and weighs in at 6 ounces.The phone runs on Android 2.2 a.k.a Froyo and is powered by an 1GHz Qualcomm snapdragon processor.



Other features of the phone are QWERTY keypad with a D-pad, 5MP auto-focus camera with flash, 430MB of internal memory (expandable to 32GB), a SD card slot, Bluetooth 2.1 DLNA media sharing capability and the ability to generate a Wi-Fi Hotspot. The phone is kept alive by a 1500mAh battery.It will deliver a talktime of 2 hours 30 minutes and a standby time of 17 days and 12 hours.With those dual screens the battery would fail to be up for long time.

The device will be available with US Cellular with a contract and it priced at $249.99, the availability is still not confirmed.
