LG unveils its Android powered Optimus X2 smartphone

LG’s Optimus X2 is an Android 2.2(Froyo) powered smart phone with 1 GHz chipset Nvidia Tegra 2, Nvidia’s dual core processor.Optimus X2 is the India’s first dual-core processor smartphone.It is said to arrive the market around third week of this month and is priced to be about Rs.30,000.

This phone can also be upgraded to Android 2.3 (a.k.a Gingerbread).The handset has a 4 inch screen, 8 mega-pixel camera,512 MB RAM and comes with 8GB internal storage which can be expanded to 32GB.It  also has the support for HDMI connectivity.

Another model named as Optimus Black,a sleek phone with premium design is said to be released in the later half of May in India.It would be priced around Rs.27,000.

Naveen, Samsung galaxy tab is a tablet PC while Optimus X2 is a smartphone which is about to be released in India... more over as you have mentioned the galaxy tab to be of (AT&T),guess you are buying from US,You will have to end the contract and forgo the warranty.
