Recently we saw 2 new phones from Sony Ericsson and now 2 more.Sony Ericsson has annownced two new Android Gingerbread phones in the Xperia series named as Ray and Active.The Ray is a stylish phone aimed at almost all entertainment lovers and Active is targeted on Sports lovers.
Both the phones are powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread and that explains what all the phone can do and support Bluetooth, Wifi and USB connectivity.The phones are just announced by Sony Ericsson.
The Xperia Ray is stylish and sleek at just 9.4 mm thickness and weighs just 100 grams.It has a 3.3 inch Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine.The touch screen display has a 480×854 resolution which is similar to Arc.A 300MB of internal memory and the phone comes with a 4 GB card included.The phone is powered by a 1 GHz processor assisted by 512 MB RAM.Its 8.1 MP camera could shoot videos at 720p and the front facing camera supports video calls and self shots.The Photo light flash makes it possible to click better even at dull lighting.
The Xperia Active is a rigid and durable design for sports enthusiasts, 16.5 mm thick and weighs 110 grams.The screen will be a 3 inch, dust proof and water resistant, Reality Display touchscreen with 320×480 resolution that could even be used with wet fingers.It has 310MB internal memory and 2GB card is included.Active too is powered by a 1 GHz processor.It has a % MP camera with LED flash but no front facing one.Active will come with an extra back cover, a wrist strap, an arm case and detachable ear hooks for the portable hands free headset.Also the phone will come pre-loaded with sports apps like an on-screen heart rate monitor and the iMapMyFitness app to keep an eye on performance.
