Micromax takes its Canvas LapTab Windows and Android dual boot hybrid to the CES


Micromax makes a debut in the global market by taking its new product for unveil at the CES at Las Vegas. The company competing with Samsung’s market in India now takes it a step forward to reach the globe. Micromax has unveiled a tablet which could dual-boot on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 or Windows 8.1.

The tablet sports a 10.1 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 px. The tablet or the Laptab runs on a 1.46 GHz Intel Celeron processor, with a 2GB RAM and a 32 GB internal memory and expandable upto 64 GB. It is powered by a 7400 mAh battery. It has a 2MP front camera and a 2MP rear camera.The rear one is coupled with a light sensor. For connectivity Wifi, and Bluetooth 4.0 are present but lacks the SIM support if you want 3G. It also has A-GPS for positioning and a 3.5mm  audio jack for audio output.

When you need it as a laptop just attach it to the transleeve cover and the keyboard which has a seperate 230 mAh battery attached with it will help you type with ease. The device is expected to come to sale from february and there is no word on the price of the device.
