NVIDIA Tegra Note 7 : A well performing budget tablet


The lead GPU Maker NVIDIA, along with EVGA, launches its new tablet TEGRA NOTE 7 at a very low price of 199$.

This 7 inch tablet has an IPS display with 1200X800 pixel screen resolution. It is powered by 1.8 GHz, NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor, 1 GHz of RAM and is supported by 4100 mAh battery. Regarding the storage, it has an internal storage of 16 GB and has a Micro SD slot for external storage, which can be expanded up to a maximum of 32 GB.

It has GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. The additional features are the NVIDIA Pure Audio for better sound clarity, Micro USB and Micro HDMI ports for better connectivity with other devices.

The Tablet runs on the latest Android platform and has a 5 MP rear HDR camera and a VGA front camera for video calling. NVIDIA claims to have the World’s first Tap-to-Track software enabling Automatic tracking, focus and exposure for a specific object in the frame.

The special feature of the tablet is considered to be the NVIDIA Direct Stylus. This special patented, 3X more responsive, high sensitive chisel tip stylus provides Finger, Palm Recognition and Lasso Selection which helps in easy sharing and editing. The stylus launcher app is launched as soon as the stylus is taken out. It provides quick access and is customizable.

Though the tablet has got some negative critics on low quality VGA camera, it is comparatively better than other tablets with same price tag and is worth the money. The Tablet will be available in stores from November 19 and is expected to create a revolution in lower end Tablet Market.

Nice specs.. the only problem really is the vga front camera.. maybe they'll come up with something we can be proud of next time..
