Aircel introduces iPhone 4 in India – 100% MoneyBack plans

Earlier in a blogpost on this site we had informed about Aircel and Airtel’s plan to launch iPhone 4 in India. But Aircel made it first.

Aircel in India is starting its iPhone 4 sales From May 27 (tomorrow). It comes as a bundle with Postpaid and prepaid Aircel connection.Aircel has proposed moneyback plans allowing customers to recover the phone’s cost in 24 months (2 years). There are two type of plans which give you 50% and 100%  money back.

The iPhone 4 16 GB is priced at ₹34,500 and 32 GB at ₹40,900.Aircel calls this to be low price, may be a marketing technique. It is pretty late arrival of iPhone 4 in India, while many countries are on the look out for the next gen of iPhone. It would bee too late to buy iPhone 4 now.Though tempting,it also make us think whether it would be out of fasion if the next gen comes soon.

But for those who really need it,the plans offered by Aircel would be good. There are two types of plans among which one offers you 50% money back in 24 months and the other 100% in 24 months.

Mr. Sandip Das, Director, Aircel said, “We are very proud to bring iPhone 4 to Aircel customers in India,” “We always endeavour to bring to our consumers a world class experience and offer the best in innovation and service. With a robust roll out of Aircel ’s 3G services in 13 circles across India, the launch of iPhone 4 will allow our consumers to truly savour the 3G experience. With our incredible new price plans, we aim to make iPhone more affordable than ever.”
