Nokia’s giant smartphone Lumia 1520 comes this November

Nokia along with Microsoft will launch its first phablet, Nokia Lumia 1520 in this quarter.It is the most higher end device ever launched by Nokia and will cost 750  U.S $

The 6 inch, ClearBlack, IPS LCD, Gorilla Glass 2 phablet, has a pure HD display of 1920 x 1080 resolution and has a Pixel density of 368 ppi. It Weighs about 209 g and is powered by a Quad-core 2.2 GHz, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Processor and a 3400 mAh long last battery providing a Maximum talk time of 27.4 h(2G) and a Maximum music playback time of 124 h.

In addition to the 32 GB storage and a 7 GB Cloud Storage by Microsoft, it has an Micro SD Memory Slot that can be expanded up to 64 GB which will allow you to store huge contents of data. It has a 2 GB RAM for high speed processing and 4 Microphones for noise cancellation and high quality stereo recording.

It sports a 20 MP PureView Rear and a 1.2 MP Front camera with a Dual LED flash for Best Low-Light photography. It also has modified the camera app compressing all the features of lumia 1020. Also Windows will back up lumia by creating an Update called “LUMIA BLACK” exclusively for Lumia 1520 with added features. It has a 3.5 mm audio connector and supports Wireless charging. It has a High Transfer Bluetooth 4.0 and a faster LTE connection compared to Lumia 1020 .

The device comes in black,white,red and yellow, and will be available for $199 with a contract on AT&T, or for $549 for the device without contract, from 15th of this month. This information was actually from the pre-order page which was made live by Microsoft. But for unknown reasons the page has been taken down and the device is no more listed.

Though Nokia fights for its place in Phablet market, will it withstand the android wave of Phablets?
