Leaked Pics of developing Open Source Mobile OS: Tizen

The new open source mobile OS Tizen , the development of which is supported by  Samsung and Intel , has shown its face for the first time to the globe through the recently leaked pics of its interface. This OS Tizen  is said to power a number of smartphones, in-car devices, tablets and many more devices.

The OS is still in its alpha phase of development and the leaked screenshots are from the Tizen SDK which has leaked, though it is not about to be out till the first quarter of 2012.Samsung is expected to unveil the first Tizen device at the MWC (Mobile World Congress) where Tizen too is expected to be released officially. Also One of the screen shot gives the user agent info running it which denotes Samsung I9500.

The interface shots make us think that it more or less resembles Samsung’s BADA OS.May be this could be an Open source rival to Android and other Mobile OS if it comes up with many features and if supported by device manufacturers.

The shots below for you….Don’t forget to share your thoughts in comments…
