Top 5 Free Tools Every Blogger Must Use

Each blogger dreams to make a superb blog, have millions of readers and thousand of Likes. The way to successful blogging can be really complicated. You should write alluring content, provide fresh news or honest reviews. But it’s not only about content – the technical side of blogging still remains difficult. However, there many absolutely free tools that can make your blog better and facilitate your blogging experience. I’m talkng about common tools suitable for the majority of blogs.

Addthis

Addthis

Addthis is free social sharing plug-in. It’s easy to install on any blog including such popular blogging platforms like WordPress, Blogger, Tumblr, Drupal and Posterous. Just select the type of buttons you need: Facebook, Twitter or bookmarks. Since Addthis is a multilingual app, you can be sure your foreign blog visitors will understand how to share a favorite post. The perk of the tool is free sharing analytics so you can keep track of most popular social media channels. Since it’s hard to track social activity in standard Google Analytics, Addthis statistics is a real gem for webmasters.

Free Video Converter

Free Video Converter

Don’t be surprised to find Free Video Converter by Freemake in Top Blogger Tools category. This freeware has excellent hidden feature – it embeds video into web pages. Thus it’s suitable tool to place videos on your blog. Convert a video into FLV format, check “Embed video to my web page” box, copy and past the code to your blog and upload video to your server. No more hassle, no coding skills or expensive web players are required to publish videos on your blog.

W3 Total Cache

W3 Total Cache

W3 Total Cache is a great free tool to optimize your blog page loading speed. As it caches static pages, it eliminates long first byte time and boosts you blog access. We all don’t enjoy to wait too much to get to a wonderful blog. The faster your audience comes to your blog, the more likely they visit your pages on regular basis. If you want to pimp up your blog engine – give a try to W3 Total Cache.

Disqus

Disqus

Disqus is freemium commenting system. If you are tired of faceless username/email commenting mode, then Disqus is what you should look at. There are various payment plans, including 100% free Disqus commenting system. In my opinion, the key benefit is various comment login access. Your blog readers may share their point of view with Facebook or Twitter or Yahoo ID. Each of them can publish user avatar and look more real. A blog with Disqus seems to be more interactive and interesting.
